SERVICES

INITIAL EVALUATIONS

A standardized assessment tool, parent interview, and clinical reasoning are used to determine what your child’s functional skills are. You will be provided with a standardized assessment score comparing your child’s functional skills to those of same-age children. This will be followed by a recommendation that may or may not include therapy services. A formal write-up of the evaluation will also be available.

DIRECT THERAPY

Your child will receive 1:1 individualized occupational therapy sessions on a weekly basis. Frequency of therapy and amount of time will be recommended based on your child’s functional skills. We will work together to determine appropriate goals for your child and work towards achieving those goals during every session. You will be provided with strategies to use at home.

Teletherapy (remote) sessions are also available if necessary.

CAREGIVER TRAINING

One to one consultation: We will sit down together and discuss your child’s specific needs. Current relevant research and strategies will be provided and collaboration will be used to determine how you can best help your child achieve his/her/their therapeutic goals.

Workshops: Group workshops will be held on various topics relevant to children and their families. Workshops will also provide a supportive environment through community.
